With a Pitting Resistance Equivalent number (PREN) exceeding 34, Nitronic 50 rivals duplex stainless steel grades such as S32205 and surpasses regular Alloy 316L in corrosion resistance. It's suitable for hydrogen and sour service, resisting sulphide stress cracking as per NACE MR 01 75.
